Photomontage

An essential requirement for any planning application is the visual impact study or assessment of the proposed development in relation to its surrounding environment. This visual impact assessment is a series of images that are termed 'Photomontages'.

Photomontages are 3D computer generated models that are accurately placed within a photograph of the existing site. These images allow planners or clients to realistically & accurately see their development in relation to its surrounding environment.

The process involves taking a suitable photograph on site from a view point that will best illustrate the new development. A 3D model is created with the correct real world characteristics and placed within the photograph with the correct height levels to accurately reflect the finished development .
